Creëer de Frankie look

Zodra je kleding gaat ontwerpen is de maatvoering een heel belangrijk onderdeel. Voor elk item ga je als designer bedenken hoe je wilt dat het gaat ‘zitten’. Is het een wijde top of juist getailleerd? Is het een croptop? Hoe cropped is het dan om net dat lookje te krijgen wat je voor ogen hebt.

Bij de broeken moet je keuzes maken in de lengte van de pijpen, de breedte van de heupen, waar zitten de zakken precies? Klinkt allemaal heel logisch en misschien ook best simpel.

Dat zijn de designkeuzes die je maakt. Vervolgens moeten die nog worden vertaald naar alle verschillende maten. In elke maat wil je dat het ontwerp er zo mooi mogelijk uitziet.

 

Perfecte poppen voor de mooiste fits

Bij Frankie & Liberty werken we met speciaal voor ons gemaakte paspoppen in diverse maten. Deze zijn ontwikkeld op basis van de gegevens van duizenden meisjes in heel Europa voor de ‘levensechte’ verhoudingen.

Op deze poppen worden alle designs gemaakt en gepast om er zo voor te zorgen dat de verschillende Frankie items ook samen weer een mooi en hip lookje opleveren en bij elkaar passen.

Tieners en groeien

Tijdens de groei veranderen de lichaamsverhoudingen enorm bij kinderen en tieners.

Vanaf een jaar of 8 groeien de armen en benen meer dan de romp en worden deze dus relatief langer. Bovendien wordt de borst breder en krijgen kinderen als ze ouder worden meer taille.

De groeispurt

Met een jaar of 11 – 12 jaar komt de groeispurt. Een explosieve groei en dan verandert hun lichaam helemaal snel. Bij meisjes betekent dit dat ook ze rondere vormen krijgen en een vrouwelijker lichaam.

Met die ontwikkeling tijdens de groei houden we rekening binnen onze collecties. Het is niet zo dat we een jurkje in maat 8 ontwikkelen en dat daar dan een vergroting van wordt gemaakt alsof je de kopieermachine op 120% zet. Integendeel, we houden rekening met de groei en de veranderingen in de verhoudingen.

In werkelijkheid bestaat er natuurlijk niet zoiets als ‘het gemiddelde’ meisje. Elk meisje is uniek met haar eigen bouw. Dus ja, de maat van de broek en het T-shirt zijn niet altijd hetzelfde. En het rokje maat 152 is bij de een heel kort en bij de ander juist niet. De verhoudingen zijn voor iedereen anders. Maar tussen de verschillende items bij Frankie & Liberty zit wel een vaste verhouding in de verschillende items en we doen ons best om de allermooiste fits te ontwikkelen.

Hoe werken de maten van Frankie & Liberty?

Bij Frankie en Liberty zijn de maten weergeven 8 tot 18. Hieronder een tabel met hoe deze maten zich ongeveer verhouden met centimeter maten. De grotere maten zijn meer kleine damesmaten.

Het verschil tussen maat 16 en maat 18 is dus niet zozeer de lengte maar meer de verandering naar rondere vormen die in de maatvoering is verwerkt. Voor tienermeiden is dit een zeer veel voorkomende maat.

Welke model broek draag jij nu het liefst? Heb je een vast model waar je je eigenlijk altijd super in voelt of ben je een broekengek die een hele collectie in de kast heeft hangen?

Welk type meisje je ook bent, bij Frankie & Liberty hebben we een reeks fashionable broeken in de collecties voor je. Wide leg denims, flare broekjes, cargo broeken en rechte broeken. Allemaal zijn ze hot dit seizoen.

De Frankie Straight Leg

Dit model heeft een rechte pijp en een high rise taille. Op de heupen en bovenbenen valt de broek iets slanker. De fit is relaxed. Dit model is al een aantal collecties een absolute fan favourit in de Frankie collecties. De hogere taille staat superleuk met een kort shirtje of trui.

De Frankie Straight leg is er dit najaar in een premium European donkerblauwe denim en in een Off-black denim. De vibe is lekker relaxed met scheuren bij de knieën of damaged details aan de voorkant.

De Attitude Wide Leg

Dit model heeft een mid rise fit. Dat wil zeggen dat hij ongeveer net onder je navel zit. Dit wide leg model heeft een regular fit Hij zit dus iets losser op de heupen en bovenbenen dan de Straight Leg maar heeft nog steeds een hele mooie pasvorm.

Najaar 23 vind je dit model in een light blue denim en heel cool in witte denim. Voor wat extra nice zitten er kettinkjes aan deze broeken.

De Cargo

Een model dat helemaal up and coming is. Een stoer, casual en trendy straight leg model met zakken aan de zijkant. Net als de Attitide wide leg zijn dit mid rise broeken met een relaxed fit. De middel heeft een beetje een paperback gevoel door het elastiek in de tailleband. De stoere cargo combineert perfect met een crop top of strak truitje.

De Love Bootcut

Eigenlijk zit het al in de naam. Bootcut, een fit die over je laarzen past. De bootcut van Frankie & Liberty heeft een regular waist. Hij valt dus tot op je taille. Op de bovenbenen en de knie zit deze broek gewoon lekker aan en vanaf op de kuit loop hij wat uit. Hierdoor heb je een slank silhouet met een relaxed look van de pijpen op je sneakers of boots.

Voorjaar ’24 kan je dit model in een witte wassing vinden in de maart drop.

Love Bootcut

De Liberty Skinny


Een skinny fit met vanaf de kuit een uitlopende pijp. Deze broekjes hebben een high rise taille dus komen net boven de navel. Door de stretch zitten de denims in dit model super strak maar ook heel comfortabel. Dit voorjaar hebben we een hele fancy blue denim versie in de collectie. Door de naad aan de voorkant en de inzetten onder de zakken krijg je een beetje vintage vrouwelijk gevoel. De mooie ronde pasvorm op de billen versterkt het ultieme flare gevoel.

Liberty Skinny

Naast de denim vind je dit seizoen ook super zachte flares in stretchy materiaal in zwart en zand (de Hetty pants) en heel cool in een bruine geprinte mesh stof (de Holly Pant)

Voor ons en de modellen een eerste keer, topmodels they are dus dat ging supersnel al supergoed! Het resultaat hebben we gebruikt voor social media en voor onze dealers.
